What Singaporeans did when the internet was down...

1. reset modem. repeat. then curse. then stare into space. then break down and cry in huge, heaving sobs when filled with a sense of aching emptiness.

2. sms friends to check if their ISP is working.

3. siam work early using the 'boh pian' excuse.

4. open the curtains to check if anything has changed over the past year.

5. reintroduce themselves to their family.

6. has actual sex instead of surfing porn sites.

My internet connection is so screwed.

First, singnet claimed it was the earthquake in taiwan.

Then, they said it might be my modem problem.

And when they couldnt restore the issue via troubleshooting on the phone, they concluded it could be my internet cable that could be down.

everyone together...WTF?!

now now, the blardy modem is less than 3 months old. i called the modem vendor helpline before calling singnet because their fucking line couldnt get through and they said it shd be singnet fault. then singnet blamed it on the natural disaster.

so i blame myself for choosing singnet?

they had the audacity to tell me the earliest timeslot for the line's dept to come down to my place to check the internet cables will be on monday. thats like a spam of almost a week k?! i might just rot and die.

sighs, i had to threatened them to get things done. viola~the man is coming TODAY, between 11 to 1. Bingo...thats why i'm awake at this time! idiot.

i dunno what to tell the man later...but my connection is working as of 4 am last night. hee hee...no harm checking my cables, i think.

i am so horrid!
